With the news that Simon Cowell has quit the UK version of the X Factor, it was only a matter of time before Cheryl followed him and he seemed to break the news yesterday via a video link on Good Day LA.
When asked if Cheryl would be joining him on the panel, the Daily Mail reports that “he replied with a firm 'yes'.”
However, the music mogul then tried to back tack on his admission, blaming the delay on the video link for his answer and claiming that the panel hasn't actually been decided yet.
Variety magazine has claimed that Cheryl's contract is being drawn up and she will soon be announced as the third judge for the show.
