Gregory Isaacs Passed Away at 59

The legendary reggae artist Gregory Isaacs passed away this morning at the age of 59 in London at around 4:00 A.M. as noted by the Rolling Stone and other celebrity sites. He is a Jamaican artist who's been in the music industry for almost 40-years and his contribution to the world of music has been recognized by the prestigious award giving body along with his legacy.

According to source, he died in a complication cause by a lung cancer and he's been on the battle for a long time until he giving up his life already. Gregory Isaacs has been with those other legendary reggae artist next to Bob Marley and the famous personality who brought out their sentiments through music. One of his single that capture the heart of millions in YouTube and record stores was "Night Nurse" plus his five-hundred work of arts.

"Gregory passed away this morning in London at 4 a.m. He had a tumor which had spread to other areas of his body. He was 60 years old. I spoke with him last week and he said that I should read Psalm 41 and Psalm 91 for him. I had made arrangements to go back to London on Wednesday to see him as I hadn’t seen him since we went to London together to do the Big Chill Festival (his last show in his life), which had over 60,000 people in attendance. He was the only reggae act on the bill. May his soul rest in peace."
